Two scholarships require individual applications: Mi Sueño (for students who seek to better the lives of those in the Hispanic community) and CSCC Alumni Legacy Scholarship .
Cleveland State Foundation Scholarships - The Cleveland State Foundation offers more than 200 scholarship opportunities to help students achieve their educational goals. To be considered for Foundation scholarships, you must first be admitted to Cleveland State Community College.
One Application. Hundreds of Opportunities - Scholarships can help cover tuition, books, fees, and other educational expenses. All students are encouraged to apply. Completing ONE General Scholarship application each academic year allows you to be considered for more than 200 scholarships.

Presidential Honors Scholarship
The scholarship provides financial support to academically motivated students by assisting with the cost of books and other educational expenses such as non-mandatory fees. Interested students should complete the supplemental application, which includes short essay questions and requires a letter of recommendation. Recipients of the scholarship will join the Honors College at Cleveland State. Award amount: $1,000 per semester for up to four semesters.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3.5 high school GPA required to apply
- Maintain a 3.20 college GPA
- Commit to joining the Honors College
- Enroll in at least 12 hours each semester, typically with an Honors course, as needed to maintain timely
progress toward completion of degree - Be enrolled in at least one class that is within the student’s program of study each semester
